Jerry Bailey is currently the Executive Sales and Education Services Manager for NCS and has been with the company since 1995. Prior to coming to NCS, Jerry was a Corporate Credit Manager in the manufacturing industry for 10 years, during which time he gained a very thorough hands on experience with both UCC filings and Mechanic's Lien filings.
Jerry consults with companies daily and has spoken to groups nationwide about Article Nine of the Uniform Commercial Code, the Revised Article Nine Model Act, the nuances of Construction Credit, and the benefits of selling through secured transactions. His presentations cover not only the legal protections brought about by the mechanic's lien and UCC filing processes, but also practical solutions of how and when to use these tools.
Christianson, Shawn
Shawn Christianson focuses her practice on insolvency, receiverships and complex litigation. She represents financial institutions, insurers, sureties, secured and unsecured creditors, technology companies, receivers and bankruptcy trustees. Her practice spans the state, federal and bankruptcy courts, as well as out of court proceedings and mediation.
Ms. Christianson has served on several boards and committees including the California Receiver's Forum Board of Directors, the Bay Area Chapter of the California Receiver's Forum, where she also served as Vice President,
the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum ("BABF"), BABF's Program and Finance Committees and the organizing committee of the California Bankruptcy Forum's Fifth Annual Conference. She was appointed to a three‐year term as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference and served on the Northern District of California's Local Rules Committee which addressed both the District and Bankruptcy Court's Local Rules. She is a trained mediator and has acted as a Resolution Advocate on the Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Panel in the Northern District of California since that Panel's creation. She served as both Chair and Vice‐Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco's Commercial Law and Bankruptcy section, and was a founding member of the Barrister Club's Speakers Bureau. She also serves on the local International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation board. She is a frequent lecturer, and presented as a panelist at "Loyola II" on the topic of Receiverships in the New Millennium in October 2004, and at “Loyola III” in 2009 on Financing the Receivership Estate.
Ms. Christianson is an active participant in numerous community and civic organizations, including having been elected in November 2005 to the Hillsborough City School District's Board of Trustees, and serving as President of that Board in 2009.
Ms. Christianson has been selected as one of Northern California's Super Lawyers six times from 2005 to 2010 and was also selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer, Corporate Counsel Edition from 2009 to 2010.
Ms. Christianson received her B.S. magna cum laude from Boston College and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was on the editorial board of the Hastings Journal of Communications and Entertainment Law. She argued, at every level from the trial court through the Ninth Circuit, the seminal case in the country on the topic of perfection of security interests in unregistered copyrights, In re: World Auxiliary Power.

Rudet Fountain is the National Sales Manager for American Check Management (ACM) in Miami Florida. ACM is the preferred provider of cash management services for the National Association of Credit Management (NACM). He travels extensively across the country speaking at seminars and consulting with businesses about the current market conditions and latest trends of cash management. With more than 20 years of experience as a business owner/manager in the service related industry, he understands and appreciates the complexity of the business environment today. He is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Marketing Research and Business Management. Rudet resides in Atlanta GA and is the father of three children.

Gubler, Warren
Mr. Gubler is a native of Tulare County, California. He received both his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Law Degree from Brigham Young University. He has practiced law throughout California since 1983. Mr. Gubler is a member and past-President of the Tulare County Bar Association. He is also a member of the California Bar Association, Tulare County Trial Lawyers Association, National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA), the California Creditors Bar Association (Board of Directors 2004 - 2006), and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society (Fresno Chapter Chairman 2005-2007). In civic affairs, Mr. Gubler serves on the Visalia City Council, is on the board of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce, is a director of The Creative Center Foundation (President 2003-2005), serves as a scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America (Sequoia Council Executive Board Member), and has been an instructor at College of the Sequoias. Over the years, Mr. Gubler has participated as a speaker and panel member in a number of educational seminars and programs relating to debt collection. Mr. Gubler’s areas of practice include creditor’s rights and collections, commercial law and litigation, insurance subrogation, as well as construction, contract, landlord-tenant and real property law
LaBadie, Ted
Ted LaBadie is AVP – Business Development, and is responsible for managing the U.S. Commercial Sales Agent and Resellers Channel. Ted has worked for Equifax Commercial Information Solutions since just after its formation 9+ years ago, and has served in a wide variety of positions, including sales, marketing and product management. Ted has conducted numerous commercial credit workshops and presentations geared towards the commercial credit industry.
Prior to joining Equifax Commercial Solutions, Ted’s background was primarily in commercial credit, including serving as the Commercial Credit and Collections Manager for GE Capital Commercial Direct, a division of GE Capital that services the credit and other needs of small businesses, as well as previous management experience working for the U.S. Small Business Administration in Atlanta, Georgia. Ted has a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia.
Maharaj, Gyan
Gyan Maharaj, CCE, has been in the credit field since 1977. He is a graduate of the University of South Africa and Pacific Western University and recipient of the Executive Award from the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management, Stanford University (1985). He is an active member of CMA having served on numerous boards and committees. Gyan is an Instructor for the California Institute of Credit, a speaker at seminars and conferences and a contributor of numerous articles to Business Credit Magazine. He was voted Credit Executive of the Year 2000 by CMA. He is formerly the Regional Credit Manager for Daltile Corp.

Gary Mendell is President of Meridian Finance Group, a company providing credit, insurance, and financial services that help exporters increase their international sales.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in 1976, Gary has over 30 years of experience in domestic and international sales, distribution, and finance.
Prior to Meridian Finance Group, he held positions managing international business development for companies in the pharmaceutical, aerospace, and plastics industries.
Gary has been recognized with awards from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Export-Import Bank of the U.S., and the Foreign Credit Insurance Association in recognition of Meridian’s contributions to international trade.
Nathan, Bruce
Bruce S. Nathan is a member of the firm's Bankruptcy, Financial Reorganization & Creditors' Rights Group. Mr. Nathan concentrates on all aspects of creditors' rights and workouts in bankruptcy, out-of-court matters and other types of insolvency cases for secured creditors, creditors' committees, unsecured creditors, trustees and other creditors. Mr. Nathan serves as counsel to the unsecured creditors’ committee in Interstate Bakeries Corporation and Advanced Marketing Services Inc. and has represented substantial creditor interests in the Enron, WorldCom, Solutia, Metromedia Fiber Network, Adelphia, Calpine, Heilig-Meyers, and Linens ‛n Things Chapter 11 cases. Mr. Nathan also negotiates and prepares letters of credit, guarantees, security, consignment, bailment, tolling, and other agreements for credit departments of institutional clients. Mr. Nathan is also involved in the negotiation and preparation of loan, letter of credit, and factoring documentation and other matters for banks, asset-based lenders and factors.
Osburn, David
David is the founder and managing member of David L. Osburn & Associates LLC, a Las Vegas-based business training and contract CFO firm that provides seminar/keynote speeches for various groups including CPAs, bankers, attorneys, credit union employees, credit managers, trade groups, and business owners. He also serves as a contract CFO for several clients including construction companies, medical practitioners, and real estate developers, co-manages a bank educational program with the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and is a board member of North Star Business Services, a commercial lending company (commercial real estate and equipment financing). His extensive professional background encompasses over 24 years in banking, finance, and marketing. His bank commercial lending credentials include comprehensive loan underwriting, management, customer development, and loan work-out experience. In addition, David is an Adjunct Professor for Regis University, an accredited MBA program and the College of Southern Nevada, a community college. He has taught college courses for over 22 years, covering Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Banking, Business Law, and Management. He earned an MBA in Finance/Marketing from Utah State University and a BS in Finance from Brigham Young University. He is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma National Commercial Lending School.
Samberg, John
John Samberg is an AV rated trial attorney, and a member of the Bars of California, Nevada, England and Wales. In over twenty-five years of civil practice, John has handled a broad variety of matters, including commercial and construction litigation, real estate litigation, creditor's rights, and major injury/wrongful death cases in State, Federal and Bankruptcy Courts across the country. John has obtained multi-million dollar awards in bench and jury trials, arbitrations and mediations involving complex business disputes, as well as major injury and wrongful death cases.
After 22 years in private practice, in 2007 John accepted a position as Vice President of Contracts and Compliance with a national construction staffing company where he was responsible for major contracts, and regulatory and license compliance. John also served as attorney of record in California credit litigation, and managed outside credit litigation counsel in other states. In 2009, John returned to private practice as part of the SulmeyerKupetz team.
John obtained his undergraduate degree from UCLA, and is a magna cum laude graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, where as a Dean's Scholar he earned numerous American Jurisprudence Awards, two national moot court championships, and the ABOTA Award for Excellence in Preparation for the Trial Practice of Law. Before attending law school, John worked as a private detective, a license he still holds. John has lectured for NACM, CMA and Lorman Education Services, and has also served the Los Angeles County Courts as a Judge Pro Tem, Arbitrator and Mediator.

Randy Tabor is a Strategic Relationship Manager for Experian’s Business Information Services. Randy joined Experian in April 1999 and has more than 21 years of client service expertise. In his current role, he works with 12 of the division’s largest reseller partners and is responsible for expanding these relationships by assisting them with the management of business issues, market strategy, sales training and coaching support.
Prior to joining Experian, Randy held a variety of positions at Accenture and Financial Services Mortgage that included training, consulting and coaching clients. His consultative approach in these roles focused on creating, developing and maintaining relationships as the foundation for organizational success.
Randy holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Southern California. He received his coach training from Coach U Inc. and holds a career transition coach certification from Chapman University. He previously served as President of the International Coach Federation — Orange County Chapter. He attributes his success in his career and leadership roles to focusing on mastering the dynamics of relationships and personal connections.
